Is there a way to play videos in guest mode like we can with audios

Hi,

I am using the easysocial video and audio modules to display latest videos on a page for guest visitors only. Currently, the guest user can play the audios with logging in (unless they click on View all) this is exactly the behaviour i would like for the videos module but cannot get it to mimick.

If it is not possible with the easysocial module do you know of any other component that would allow me to do this?

Hi Mel,

If you mean showing the player on the video listing page, this is not possible unless you template override the theme files.

Hi Raymond,

is this easy to do? I think for community websites this would be brilliant to have as they act as teasers (like the audios do) that entice visitors to want to join. If visitors can play a limited number of videos and like what they see they are more likely to sign up when they click on View more videos.

Are you able to tell me which file to change/how to make it visible?

Question: How can you play only one video by ID for the EasySocial Videos Module ?

I would like to play just one specific video from EasySocial video module.....

To play specific video by id from easysocial will require customization in the code.
