We're trying to integrate ES with our CRM system and we need to create a hidden field to users to contain their CRM ID but should be visible to Staff. Is this possible? Thanks!
Hi,

This is not possible but it can be minor hacked where if you are using a "Textbox" field, I can hack the field to be non-editable in frontend, but editable in backend.

Hi Jason,

Can you show me how? That would be awesome, hopefully the hack will not be overwritten by an upgrade.

Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately this hack will be overriden if you were to upgrade.

I think I will be able to include this in the final 1.2.

Hi,

Added internally. Will be included in the next 1.2 (rc2/stable) release.

Hi Jason,

I just installed RC2 and I can't find any new option in the Text Custom Field, or where do I see the hack you did on the text field?

Thanks,

Jackson

Hi,

There is no new option to this. Just access the user's profile in the backend and the disabled textbox will be editable.
