Is there a way to configure internet proxy for recieving feed import for Intranet web site

Hello

I have a bit trouble for my joomla server have an internet set up with proxy only allowed in my corporate environment. The feed didn't come in for a while though. The other mechanism that need internet are doing okay with internet proxy such as Easyblog updater notification and etc

If you run this URL manually, you should be able to get the feed: http://yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cronfeed .

Thanks for your reply. I usually use the link you refer to for manual refresh my feeds. My intranet's URL is " http://cgprod.intranet/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cronfeed " It's only for company intranet. It's work fine though ,before our IT department put the server's IP back into internet proxy. Any chance for my news feed is greatly appreciate . By the way ,I got the EasyCron package though, Cant get it to work right actually , so here the proxy thing is another issue for me.

Hey Win,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Unfortunately there is no way around this because the feed importer will actually need to connect to the external site via internet.
