I am trying to get ed3 to display the default (latest) layout as :

TLD/subdirectory/latest.html (the canonical url)

I am not able to do this. Whenever I add a page labeled with an alias of latest.html to a menu it changes the canonical to :

TLD/subdirectory/latest/latest.html

I have tried using menu item alias and headings but just cannot seem to get it to display the EB "home page" in the toolbar....latest.html

Is their a way I can get a layout that goes to the EB home page as it is listed in the toolbar of my template? like:

TLD/subdirectory/latest.html

I would really like my canonical to match my main navigation.
Hello

I had check your canonical link in your easyblog site and it is displaying as below.
yoursite/psychic-readings/latest.html
Had you configure it yourself, please advice?
The setting where you are looking for to configure the url are in backend > easyblog > settings > SEO
If im getting you wrong do tell and could you please provide us with the Joomla back end access as well as the FTP access so that I can check on the issues on your site?
We actually need these information so that we can debug on your issues quickly.

Thanks:)

Hi,

Ok SEO so how do I make my main Joomla Navigation obey the SEO plugin for Eeasy Blog? I want to go to the /latest.html page from my main Joomla navigation on the top of my site. The latest layout is fine...The canonical tag is correct but I want the url to display like this from my main Joomla Nav

http://mysite.com/easyblog/latest.html

How do I do this? When I try to add a menu item alias with latest it just prepends latest to the url and I am left with the same problem. Any thoughts how I can make the Joomla Navigation URL match the EASYBLOG Canonical URL? Thanks.
