Correct me if i am wrong. From what i understand, you pinned Events streams and expected them to be pinned on dashboard? For items that is created on the events, will only be pinned on the events itself and will not be pinned on dashboard.

Perhaps i understand you wrongly here, it would be best if you can provide us with images or more details so that we can better understand this.

Please advice.

I featured the events:

"Berlin FCPX & Co Meet March 2019"

&

"Berlin FCPX & Co Meet April 2019"

Both show up as featured in the featured section with little green ribbons bottom left-hand corner.

On the stream page here:

I pinned the events:

"Berlin FCPX & Co Meet March 2019"

You can see the little orange pin next to the Avatar of "BRUCE the YAK"

I would expect this item "Berlin FCPX & Co Meet March 2019" on the stream page to be pinned to the top!

Hi there,

Currently, it default behaviour, for all stream/items that are create from events/groups/page including featured and others will not be pinned on users dashboard and will be pinned to respective groups(events/groups/page) as you can refer here http://take.ms/q4QxG.

Those items that are created on profile(story form) only can be pinned to the dashboard. You can see on each respective event(Berlin FCPX & Co Meet March 2019), Featured stream are pinned as you can see here http://take.ms/zB7cA

Perhaps, we need to change this behavior, it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request" so that everyone else could vote for it. We will prioritize this feature during the development process for the next major version of EasySocial if there are more people request on this.
