Is it possible to use Komento threaded comment in EasySocial status commenting?

For our website we'd like to use the Komento threaded commenting in status post and other EasySocial commentable areas. Is it possible?
If not is there a way to develop this behaviour simply? I'm still new with EasySocial but I guess I would figured it out once I get more familiar, some directions would still be appreciated.

I'm sorry but currently it is not possible. EasySocial's stream item is currently limited to only EasySocial's internal comment system for compatibility and performance reasons.

The big issue here is that stream comments would have to allow threaded replies. Otherwise even if you did get a Komento form, you wouldn't be able to see it in the stream without that modification.
