Hi, my first post here.
Does esayblog allow users to have their own spaces so they can create albums, cover page, and more importantly for me, categories? It seems to me by default any user can see categories created by other users and write blog in them, which is a little confusing in my opinion, and if I allow general registered users to create categories, very soon there would be a huge list of categories, making it very hard to maintain readability.
An ideal solution for me is, users can create personal categories which other users can only see in the user's space, and can't write blog in. And there are some public categories which everyone can see and write in. It would be even better if users get to choose both personal categories and public categories when they write a blog,
Hey there,

For media management, each user have their own album in the media manager when media management is enable in their ACL.

Currently Easyblog doesn't support of each user having their own category exclusively to themselves, at most during category creation you can determine it to be appear for specific user group during blog post creation and at the same time you can choose who can view the category.

For the general blog post category, you can disable the ability to create a category outright to a user group and they're still able to create a blog post if the category are allowed to their user group.

can I as super user set these two settings (see attachment) for all users and make them unable to change it?
I want to turn "view the blog post" on and turn "Select category during blog creation / edit" off for all but super user. This way it will be similar to my original goal.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Currently that is not option to set only Superadmin can see that selection, but you can download my attached file and replace into this file location JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/privacy/privacy.php , it will not show that 'Assigned Joomla User Group' option from the category creation page.
