Hi,

I'm wondering, before buying my licence, if easydiscuss can "use" the users already registered with joomla, and their groups.

My point is that I want to create a collaborative tool (kind of extranet) with joomla, easydiscuss and docman, and it will be a hassle if I have to manage users from both ways, or if users have to sign in two times to access content and to post something...

Best regards,

Paul
Both answer is Yes.

That user do not need to login again.

Yes, as long as your Joomla site user already registered, they can use back their own registered user account to login on Easydiscuss page as well.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

Just to be sure : if my user is connected with joomla front end login, he don't have to log again to easydiscuss ?

Is Easydiscuss using the same groups and ACL than joomla ?

Best regards
