I migrated users from Joomla! into EasySocial.

When I tried to delete non approved registrations, I got an error message like "EasyBlog helper not found on line..." . I installed EasyBlog, and the deletion apparently worked.

So : Do I need to install aditional Stackideas extensions to run EasySocial : EasyBlog ? EasyDiscuss ? Komento ?
Hi,

Photo and albums:

1. The applications are basically a layer to handle various task in EasySocial, including preparing stream item, generating stream item, dashboard sidebar, profile sidebar. It all depends on what the application is coded to do as application has a wide scope of what it can do.
2. Unfortunately this is not possible (this is not an EasySocial issue) as user loads any website through browser will always have access to the page source, and hence the image source.
3. You can do this through backend -> EasySocial -> Profiles -> Select Profiles -> Access
4. Please provide us your site's access and FTP access to investigate this.
5. This is the current behaviour and we will see if we can improve this in the future.
6. Yes. Storing on the cloud only gives you the benefit of reducing disk spaced used on your hosting server. We will include an "unlimited" option in ES 1.2.
7. Which album stored on site do you mean? If it is from a 3rd party site or any data that is not within EasySocial, then unfortunately this is not possible.

Calendar:

1. I am not quite sure what you mean here but if you access the calendar page, click on any date and you can enter new event details into it. If you are referring to editor for the description section, unfortunately we do not have this now and we will see if we can include this in the future.

Discussion:

1. The discussion app only acts as a integration app for EasyDiscuss, just like the EasyBlog app in EasySocial. It is used to access, pull, generate data from EasyDiscuss on your site.

ACL:

1. This is in backend -> EasySocial -> Profiles -> Select Profile -> Access.

Documentation:

1. We are actually halfway in the midst of documentation and development at the same time as we are only consist of a small team, and the same team is handling all aspects including support, documentation, development and maintenance.

Hello Caizergues,

Sorry, I guess I missed your post earlier. Hm, this is odd. You do not need to have EasyBlog / EasyDiscuss installed on the site for EasySocial to work. Can I know the exact error that you get upon deletion?

Sorry, I did not keep a copy of the message, and I can't reproduce it since EasyBlog is also installed now .

While discovering EasySocial, I have a serie of questions :

-Photos ans albums :
.what are the respective use of each appli ? I activated both, but seem to see only album on my profile
.can I forbid downloading of photos by registered users ?
.can I increase the limit of photos uploaded by user and by day, at least for administrators and above
.I created albums. They all appear in recents albums (left column) but only two creations are mentioned in the stream on the wall
.when one browses full size photos (see original), ther is no obvious way to switch to the next, other tnan closing the window to go back to the album and increasing the next one.
.If I store photos in the cloud rather than on the site, am I still limited to 20 uploads per day ?
. Is ther a way to incorporate in albums photos already stored on the site, rather than uploading them from the PC ?

-calendar : I did not find a way to create a "nice" event description ie to edit it like any joomla article

-Discussions : this feature looks more like internal mail (or chat ? I have no other real user on the site for the time being). I am also using EasyDiscuss and EasyBlog on the site. How is intégration provided between these components ? Can I import profile deatails (at lest photos) from existing EasyDiscuss profiles ?

-ACL : I have not yet thoughly searched the backend, but at first glance I di not identify where "rights" are defined or limited

-Documentation : I did not identify any "concept and facilities" manual. This component seems to me to be a little too rich functionally to be discovetred just by trial and error, even if the parametrisation seems so far relatively obvious.
