Iphone emoji shows as ? on desktop website. just reporting this.
Hi there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, in order to support Emoji characters, your database table must support utf8mb4 charset. Can you login to your EasySocial backend and enter this URL in your web browser.

http://yourdomain.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=maintenance

*NOTE: replace yourdomain.com to your actual site domain.

Once you access the above page, you should see a dropdown. Please select 2.1.0
Please see http://take.ms/yXeNm

Next, please click on the checkbox for 'Update stream column content character set to utf8mb4' and click 'Execute' button from the toolbar. Please see http://take.ms/aBzK0

This will convert your EasySocial stream table to support utf8mb4 charset.

Once you have run the above steps, you should be able to enter Emoji in your story updates.

Hope this help and have a nice day
Sam
