Hello!

I'm using Koemnto 1.7.7 with Easyblog. We recently got some haters trying to spam the comment section. It's annoying, and I'd like to ban their IP from the website. However, when I try to get their IP, I saw that Komento recorded the same IP for every comments, that is in fact the IP of my server.

I have some other components that are able to get the real IP, but since they use the comment form, It would be way easier to get them using Komento. I'm pretty sure I already saw this issue somewhere, but I can't remember where unfortunately.
Hello Philidia,

I've fixed it for in this file: ../components/com_komento/views/komento/view.ajax.php. Please give it a try. I've tried to put a comment and it do get my Ip address after applying this fix.

Very cool! Thank you, but what will happen if I update my Komento later? Will this fix be on the next version?
