have you guys considered to show guest and users ip addresses ?

i have noticed that even the free contact plugin i use " b2j " contact had this nice feature,
it shows every guest/user ip address ... which is very handy in case you need to ban that person.

Client: 31.48.133.160 - Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/30.0.1599.101 Safari/537.36

something like that...

i also tried WordPress and played around with bbpress forum ... couldnt believe that this one also has this feature..

very nice is done by bbpress ... when admin is browsing the forum topics ... right below every guest or user it has the ip of that " guest/user " listed.

Sorry for the late reply. We already have IP address logging for all the posts created in EasyDiscuss 3.2. As for banning the IP addresses this is in the request list. As for when it will be implemented. This has yet to be decided

where is it ? it will be enough just to show the ip. ..

banning can be done manually via .htaccess.

ok i found it in Discussions setting ... but thats only for questions ... not for replies

Sorry for the late reply. Actually you can view it when you click here http://screencast.com/t/vGUS5ui9i in the backend Discussion listing page to view the replies and subsequestly the IP of the replies. Hope this helps.
