IP Address keeps getting blocked at my hosting company.

Hi There.

I have bean having a big challenge with my Ip being blocked, so after a lot of email between my and my host, they found the problem. This is the info regarding the problem:

So we have found the issue, it does seem to be the easysocial plugin, as before when the same IP hits the server too many times in a short period it is picked up as a DDos and the IP is prohibited.

So the social plugin is making requests to the server too often and this is causing the issue Perhaps send them the logs above so that they can see what their plugin is doing, perhaps it is a configuration error on the plugin


Can you please have a look and tell me how I can fix the problem.

Sorry for the late reply. Based on your logs here, seems like you are in development mode, right? Can you please replace the attached file in ../media/com_easysocial/scripts/admin/sidebar/sidebar.js and see how it goes?

I'm going to enable my international FTP connections to all country's and see if that help?Where is Stackidea's located? If this should work, then I will only enable the international FTP connections for where Stackidea's are located.

I think we mis understand each other. . I made the international FTP connections available to all country's , Nothing is blocked. If this works, then I will then disable them and just enable Malaysia.

Hi Mark.

So today I went to see a client about my new social network and how awesome it really is. So while in the process ,my Ip got blocked again. So know the Ip of there modem is blocked. I just gave a quick excuse, "I'm still working on a few things". Is there any why, that I can stop Ip's from blocking? It seems to happen mostly when I'm in the backend.

My network is an Ip blocking machine.
