Is there an option to be able to turn off allowing members of an invite only group to invite other members?

Currently, there is no setting for it but you can modify the group.php file which is at JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/group/group.php.

You need to remove the following PHP code so that Group members unable to invite other members (Kindly refer the screenshot):

|| $this->isMember()

I only want the option to invite members for admins of the private group and not just any member.

Unfortunately, it is unachievable at this point of time.

Will this PHP change revert back to normal every time I update Joomla?

Yes, it will revert back to normal after update EasySocial, not for Joomla.

Do take note that remember to back up the modified group.php so that you can replace it back after update EasySocial.
