Is there a customization I could do to the sQL query somewhere? For your other customers, I would imagine that pulling all users would be difficult to do because they could be large numbers of users. Ours is an intranet and would pull (at most) 1200 users.

I'm already doing a number of customizations to EasySocial to meet my objectives, so this would be worthwhile to me, even if I have to re-do it after each update.

I appreciate any advice!

Hello Tim,

You will need to customize the php file in /components/com_easysocial/controllers/friends.php and look at the method suggest if you need to customize it.

Sadly, I was not able to figure it out. Here's hoping you are able to resolve for an upcoming release!

Hello Tim,

I'll add this as a feature request for 1.3 so that the admin can configure this.

If I recall right, I think that is planned for ES 1.3. I too would love to be able to compose new messages to non friends.
