when testing the Invite friends by email option, after clicking send, the name of the friend is listed and the message "invited on" but the date of sending is not shown. Also, there is no email received by the friend. Using latest version ES 1.4.3 and Joomla 3.4.5. Please advice.

Also, when using the social share option to share an update by email, the email is not send, and this time the name of the sender is not shown. It seems the latest Joomla and/or ES update did something that caused emailsending to fail.

note: the crons are activated for every 5 mns, and working
Hi there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems like I am not able to replicate the issue in my local instance as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/AREFtv13pL . Can you pass me your joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly?

Hi there,

It seems like there are some translation issue with your current language where they remove the date parameter variable inside the language file. I've fixed this for you by changing the following string inside your /language/nl-NL/nl-NL.com_easysocial.ini :
COM_EASYSOCIAL_FRIENDS_INVITED_ON="Uitnodiging verstuurd %1$"
// replace with
COM_EASYSOCIAL_FRIENDS_INVITED_ON="Uitnodiging verstuurd %1$s"

It will show the date correctly now as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/gzjB19RrxE6 . By the way I am not able to access your easysocial backend due to permission issue as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/vhZoUmpyT and I am not able to check on your email activity area for your second issue.

Please advise.

Hi Wes1,

I am still not able to access your easysocial administrator page . Can you make the provided credentials with super user access so it will be easier for us to troubleshoot on the issue directly?

Hey Wes1,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, not really sure what is the outstanding issue here but I have just tried to access your site and invited myself and it seems to be showing the date correctly as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/WxtSypAp

Regarding your second issue, about not receiving the invites in your mailbox, is the email setup correctly in your Global configuration? Because i tried to create a new account on the site and I did not receive any emails too.

P/S: I was also unable to access EasySocial back end with the login credentials provided. I believe you need to assign the user Stackid into the super administrator group.

Hi Wes1,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

Thanks for the super admin access. I just checked your easysocial email activity area and I see there are a lot of pending emails that did not get send out. When I tried to manually run the cron using the following url, /index.php?option=com_easysocial&cron=true the email get sent out correctly and I received the invitation email inside my gmail account,
http://screencast.com/t/710JQtDXSX ,
http://screencast.com/t/MqFh5ubrKP .

May I know have you set up your cronjob correctly? Perhaps you can pass your cpanel access to us so we can help you to set up cronjob for you.

2. if you create a blog and publish it, there is the
(#200) The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this action

It seems like the error is coming from your facebook autoposting not being configured correctly. Can you provide us with your Facebook access so we can check on the apps settings?
