Hello!

Try to invite a person to join a Private Group and click on the link in the email.

If the person invited have not logged in to the site yet, the person will see an Error. Shouldn't it redirect the person to login then after login it should redirect the person again to the group where he/she was invited and opt-in to join?

Thanks,

Jackson

Hey Jackson,

After checking the ticket that was linked to the thread https://stackideas.com/forums/logging-out-when-you-are-a-member-of-an-invite-only-group , we have already added this settings for EasySocial 3.0, http://take.ms/OT01d

Hi Mark,

Happy Lunar New Year!

Hmmm... redirecting to 404 error is I think does not fix the issue the issue is instruction for people who are invited to join a Private or Closed Group. Assuming the person is not logged in or no account yet, if the person click in the link given in the invite email the person will be taken to 404 error? That doesn't look good, don't you think? Maybe redirected to the guest login and a message to let the person know that they will need to login or create an account?

Thanks,

Jackson

Hi there,

If you enabled that settings, it will redirected you to login page and will not redirected to 404 error page. Can you give it a try first and see how it goes?
