Is it possible to set the notifications for the group to internal but when I send an announcement as a group owner it gets emailed to people?
Hello Garret,

I have checked the codes and it is possible. However, I found a bug with our code when sending out broadcast to cluster's members. Please replace the attached file in ../administrator/components/com_easysocial/tables/alert.php.

I have copied the file and it is not sending the announcement notification when the group is set to internal.

Here are my steps:
1. Set the group to "Internal Only" notification type.
2. Create announcement in the group
3. No email sent

When I set the group to "Both" I will get the notifications but again if it is "Internal Only" it will not send a notification.

Hello Garrett,

Sorry for the late reply. I did a test in your site by creating a test group and a test user to be the member of the group. The group is Test Group (Internal) and the test user is Stackideas Testuser. I have created a test announcement as seen in the attached screenshot, and email does get queued in the Email Activities listing.
