Hello,

I made a search, but maybe due to poor searching skills I didn't find any previous threads regarding my question:

I'm running my website with a rockettheme template using gantry frameworks and would like to seamlessly integrate easy social/discus/blog/kom. Would it be possible to integrate wanderers template into a blank article/page so all the content is displayed within that box/article/page/frame? Or do I have to do it in some other way? Or maybe its not possible..? Would like to have an answer for this before commiting to a subscribription.

Thankful for answers!

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. And regarding performance, do you know if its responds quick? I mean I understand if its a bit slower using frames. Possible to get en url to example site that you know use frames and your components? If you can post here or send me a pm that would be great.

Thanks

Hello Patrik,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, not really sure about your last reply though, what do you mean by "it responds" quick?

You can actually try out Wanderers with all our extensions at http://wanderers.stackideas.com

Hi Mark,

I think that what he wants to do is extract the EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss and EasySocial (EasyX for short) parts of Wanderers and integrate into his own RocketTheme template and he's worried about the performance that he'll get. Adding lots of new CSS could mean slower page delivery.

I'm actually interested in doing the same this except with a YooTheme template. Wanderers has a modules column on the far right and should provide the basis for creating something that looks consistent across EasyDiscuss, EasyBlog and EasySocial.

After installing and selecting wanderers as the defalt template I note that there do not seem to be specific themes for EasySocial. I also note that changing the theme within EasySocial nothing happens when so I guess that the theme itself provides all the CSS that EasySocial requires.

I see that the less files for EasyX are in the wanderers/less directory. What needs to be done extract the EasyX CSS from Wanderers so that it can be used within other templates? I imagine that one needs to move the relevant template files over from wanderers/html and wanderers/less and compile the .less files into something that can be included with the other template. Is this correct?

Thanks
Chris

Hello Chris,

You can't really just extract the styles from Wanderers and put it into your rockettheme template because the css structures relies on the css structure within Wanderers itself.
