Hi Guys,

Is it at all possible to integrate the toolbar with the main menu, I want to have a single menu published with all the functionality that is provided in the toolbar plus the ability to create menu items. I know that there is something posted about that in milestone 1.5, however I am unsure if that is referring to the same thing that I am looking to accomplish.

Please advise,
Chaim
Hello CK,

Hm, I am not too sure if I understand you here but currently the toolbar that you have in EasySocial is actually more of a "Notification" bar rather than a toolbar Perhaps in the future it could evolve to a toolbar but to be frank with you, I strongly advise users to not treat it as a toolbar since you already have a menu system on your Joomla site

Mark,

Thank you for your quick response.

What I would like is to have the main menu (mod_menu) of the site as well as the following modules (mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu, mod_easysocial_notifications, mod_easysocial_toolbar and mod_easysocial_search) integrate and display as thought they were a single module (similar to the way it is done on Facebook); is that at all possible?

Hello CK,

Hm, I don't think that is possible out of the box but you probably need to customize them.

You may want to look at Rockettheme's menu, it allows you to have modules as dropdowns:

http://www.rockettheme.com/joomla/extensions/roknavmenu

I think then all you'd need to do is create a menu item, select the dropdown to be a module and match up which module you want to be shown.

I hope this is helpful information and I haven't entirely misunderstood your question.
