Indeed using Joomla Search would be very useful for consistency.

Sorry Mark but I was just looking at your Roadmap, and noticed the "Advanced Search Functionality" in 2.0 coming out in Dec 2013. So this wont have user search?

The advance search is actually different than a user search plugin Advance search allows site users to search using specific custom fields on the site.

Can I ask what some of those custom fields might be?
Like, wouldnt it search information about users e.g Female age 30, and then you would get a list of females aged 30? I know it searches names so far, so Im hoping some of the advanced searches would look into their profile information and compile a list of those users.

Sorry if I get myself confused! Does this make sense?
