Hi, Mark & co -

I'd asked about this earlier as part of a broader integration question but probably should have put it into a separate thread. I noticed that the K2 user app includes the photo for each K2 item created by a given user into their user profile, but that the K2 article app only pulls in the title and introtext - no photo. This makes it really hard to drive engagement on those items through the EasySocial activity stream!

Is there a setting I missed somewhere to include the photo? If not, would this be a hard thing to add? I tried to take a look at it but I could not find the file path to the K2 (or EasyBlog) integration plugins; where are those stored?

Sorry for so many questions...

Thanks,
Cheryl
The k2 app requires an image property, not sure if K2 is already storing the image column but you can take a look at the file /Users/media/com_easysocial/apps/user/k2/views/profile/view.html.php if you want to hack it

I will add this into our issue tracker and we'll take a look at this as well.

That's great, Mark - thanks for the file path!

I assume it must be storing the image column because you include photos in your profile integration.

For when you do look at this in your issue tracker, it would also be great to let your customers decide if they want to pull over the K2 tags in addition to the photos. This was "no big deal" for me on JomSocial because they don't have the activity stream filters that you do. But now that I'm on EasySocial, if a user creates a hashtag filter they will assume that they are seeing all of my site's activity on that topic - when in fact they are missing the most substantive part. I saw that you already added a hashtag facility in your new "content" plugin so I'm guessing this wouldn't be much additional work, and it would be a great value to your users!

Thanks again!!
