Hi,

I've used the ACL in EB to set a full range of permissions for the "Publishers" users group - including permission to delete all blog entries.

I have assigned a user to this "Publishers" group... and the user shows up as part of the Publishers group - in both EB and ES.

However - when I log in as this user through ES, all I can do is "Feature" and "Edit" other people's blog posts.

How do I fix this - so that this user in the Publisher group can do whatever he wants, when he logs in through the frontend?

TIA - Jeff.
Hello Jeff,

Hm, sorry but I am not too sure if I understand you here. If the user is assigned to the "Publishers" user group in Joomla, then it should inherit the access that you configured for it in EasyBlog. The user group is not the same as the profiles in EasySocial.

Hmm... nothing to do with ES then, I guess.

But the issue still remains. All permissions in the Publishers group in EB are set to "Yes."

User "Jeff" is assigned to the Publishers group. (see attached screenshot).

But, once logged in, Jeff can only Feature and Edit another users blog post.

Hello Jeff,

Did you access the dashboard area of EasyBlog at the front end?

Ah, okay I think I get your issue here Jeff. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Sure thing. Backend and FTP access are the same, and appended below.

Hello Jeff,

Ah, it looks like this is a bug on our end. Can you give this a try again?
