I've fixed it for you. What I did was, re-save the Joomla User Manager option. Hope this helps.

There's actually a bug in Joomla 3.2.0 where you need to go to Users > Options and save the option so that the default public group is selected.

I have this same problem.

It seems like user group "Public" does not have the permission to subscribe the blog entry based on your easyblog ACL setting. I've enable the user group public to be able to subscribe the blog and everything is working fine now. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-03-31_1216.png

Can you please detail how you did this? I'm having the same problem and would like the registration box to pop up when people try to subscribe instead of the unhelpful 'error message'!

You need to go to your backend > easyblog > ACL > public > blog subscription to "yes", http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-06-02_1033.png . After that go to your backend > easyblog > settings > subscriptions > allow registrations during subscription to "yes", http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-06-02_1033_001.png .
