Reasonably fresh 3.10 site suitable for beta. Install gets to "initializing site files" and sits there. I gave it about ten minutes.

Restarted install a second time and it finished, each step taking less than 1-2 seconds.

Not sure how I might find out where or why it stalled the first time, though.
Hello Christopher,

If you view the console, do you see any errors from the XHR requests? I believe it could be a permission issue where the scripts weren't able to copy the files.

Too late to look now, but if this happens again, I'll check.

First install always stalls, and this is in the error console:

index.php?option=com_easyblog&ajax=1&controller=install&task=copy:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

Reloading update page and starting install all over, fresh, and it works on the second attempt.

Hello Christopher,

Hm, I can't seem to replicate this locally but judging from the step that is stucked, it seems like it happens only when it is copying the files over. Is there any staging environment that I could test this on your end?

By the way, is this an upgrade or a clean install of EasyBlog 6?
