I'm not sure what's wrong, but I'm trying to install the component on the website and it won't install. I've made sure that the upload limit is enough, but it still won't install. Any ideas?
Hello Penn,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

I really don't know why it won't upload, I even tried installing it from the temp folder and even direct from the URL, none of it would work

Hello Penn,

Your upload_max_filesize is only 2 megabyte, please increase it to at least 10MB
Screenshot --> http://screencast.com/t/BDABfoxl0jgC
I went through your tmp folder and was that you are trying to upload EasyBlog
I've installed EasyBlog for you and it is running on the latest version.
For Komento you would either increase the upload_max_filesize by contacting your webhosting provider or FTP the file tmp folder and install via directory.
If you need further assistance please provide us access to your FTP.

Thanks:)

Thank you very much for your help, it's much appreciated. However, what I don't understand is when it wouldn't upload, the first thing I did was go to PHP configurations and changed the "upload_max_file size" to 20M, which it is still on now because I have just checked. I've experienced problems with uploading large files before and I've always got around it by changing this value. However, I've also managed to upload direct from the URL in extension manager as well, this is something I could get to work either. Anyway, very strange. Why I couldn't get it to work.

Thanks very much, and if you have any thoughts on this, please let me know.

Hello Penn,

In your php information your upload_max_filesize is still showing 2mb, you would have to contact your web hosting provider to increase this or by using htaccess to override the default configuration for php.ini

Hope that helps, Thanks:)

Hello Penn,

There might be a php.ini that overwrite the value. Can you provide us your FTP access so we can install it for you? Please advise.

Do you want FTP details for Oscar fish lover.com, or the main root where all my websites are?Which file are you looking for in particular? I always prefer to learn how to do these things myself, then there's no need for me to ask other people to the for me. If you tell me which file you need to make alterations to, I can probably do it myself.

I do have one other question that isn't actually related to what we have been talking about, but it will save me having to place a completely new topic. I am just upgrading another blog, I've clicked"Run updates" but it seems to have got stuck at 10%. Not sure why

Hello Penn,

Actually, I'm asking for your FTP is to install the component via directory. The workaround for this issue is install it using this method. You can do it on your own by the way. Here the link to the tutorial: http://stackideas.com/docs/komento/installation/installing-from-directory . As for the 10% update stucked, from which version you are upgrading from? You might want to download the component from your dashboard and manually install it via Extension Manager. Please give it a try.
