Hello,
I just purchased Easy Blog Friday evening. I installed the extension, but it’s not visible on the site. The site is currently located on my development server.

http://staging-servers.com/TheSacredApothecary/
The blog URL is http://staging-servers.com/TheSacredApothecary/index.php/blog

How can I get this to be visible?
I like the way you’ve configured your blog on http://stackideas.com/blog
Can you help me with its configuration?
Thanks!
Tony
Hello Anthony,

Can you please provide us with the Joomla back end access as well as the FTP access so that I can check on the issues on your site?
We actually need these information so that we can debug on your issues quickly.

Thanks:)

Hello Khairul,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I tried to install the archive and somehow it didn't work.

Would you also be able to install the download for Joomla 2.5 that contains All EasyBlog Modules?

Ideally we would like our installation to look like yours on the http://stackideas.com/blog site. I've made some progress, but its come to a grinding halt.

I've created a user name and password for you.

user:xxx
password:xxx

Thanks!

Hello Anthony,

I could not access your backend, it seems that the username and password was incorrect, please advice?
Please do not post your username on the main post, use the fields below to send your sites credentials where only the support team could view them.

Thanks:)

Hello Khairul,

I am not sure what the issue is, but I contacted my wife and she has given me an alternate.

Sorry for the delay.

Best regards,

Anthony

Hello Anthony,

How can I get this to be visible?

I had set the menu type alias/parmalink "blog" in "Navigation Menu" on your site to easyblog front page blog layout and it is showing the blog list now. Hope this is what your are asking for

Would you also be able to install the download for Joomla 2.5 that contains All EasyBlog Modules?

I had install all the modules for easyblog in your site.

Thanks:)

Hello Khairul,

I can see the blog!!!! Yeah!

How can I?

1-Configure so that I can see the calendar, archives and so only a portion of the blog is listed, like a teaser not the whole blog?

2-How can it be set up so it looks like the blog on your site. http://stackideas.com/blog

categories
calendar
teaser
round avatar

3-Is Section-ex an editor? We desperately need a text editor. Can you recommend it?

Thanks!

Anthony

Hello Anthony,

Kindly please find the answers to your inquiries below:

1-Configure so that I can see the calendar, archives and so only a portion of the blog is listed, like a teaser not the whole blog?

Your Joomla template doesn't seem to support "right" module position so we can't actually place the modules on the right area I have configured EasyBlog so that the content automatically gets truncated on the front page of the blog.

2-How can it be set up so it looks like the blog on your site. http://stackideas.com/blog

The blog theme that you see on our site is actually customized internally. However, you can publish the modules to appear on the right provided that your Joomla template supports the right module position.
