When we tried installing the easysocial .zip file without internet into our local server it was showing as "LOADING" and nothing was being unzipped...it was stuck forever.
But when the same procedure was carried out "WITH INTERNET" within few minutes it was installed.
How is that possible??
Hello,

We actually offer you 2 packages for installation. The basic "launcher" is only about 300kb and the rest of the extension are downloaded over the internet. This is for site owners who has issues uploading a large installer.

If you have a pretty large upload_limit, you can download the full package which doesn't require the internet. Click on "Other packages" as you can see here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-01-19_2337.png . Then, click on "Download Full" to download the full package. Follow the guide at http://docs.stackideas.com/administrators/setup/directory_installation on how you can perform the directory installation

Hi,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Can you please turn on Error Reporting = maximum, so that we can know what error you're hitting there. You can turn it on here: System > Global Configuration > Server > Error Reporting. After that, you can try install EasySocial by following these steps:-
1. Download the full package installer file from our site. If you have done this, please proceed.
2. Open your site's directory and find tmp folder.
3. Copy the EasySocial full installer file and paste it in tmp folder. After that extract the installer file there.
4. Go to your Extension Manager > Install from Directory. The install directory should be: yoursite.com/tmp/(*easysocial folder) * if you have any.
5. Click install.
6. Proceed until step 3. Please select Install via Directory: http://screencast.com/t/ysmVBBOlS .
7. Complete.

However, if this steps doesn't fix your issue, perhaps you can upload your site to any temporary location so that we can assist you further.
Please advise.
