When installing Easyblog, the installation seems to run all the way through but the installation fails and displays an empty error message. The same applies when error reporting is on maximum

Hey Rod,

I've tried to install Easyblog at your end hitting this error.

403
Forbidden
Access to this resource on the server is denied!

I am not sure why your server returns this error 403 ForbiddenAccess to this resource on the server is denied! when I try to upload the installer file through your site backend, I suspect your server mod_security restricted this.

Perhaps you can request your Webhosting provider to check on the server error log and see if there can trace any error related to this 403? Or you can check the mod_security log as well.

Thank you!

Most likely a mod-security error. Can you please advise your ip address so the host can find the rule causing the problem and whitelist it.

We tracked down the mod-security rule and installation was successful. Thanks for your help.
