Dear Support,

I have installed the eayblog on joomla 3.4.4, but i am stuck in "Post Installation Cleanup Failed".

Reinstall did not solve the problem, and bellow forum thread did not help too.

Thank you
Hi Rizwan,

It seems like the provided FTP is not working for me. Can you please advise?

I also notice that your site are using some sort of 3rd party plugin to hide the error on your joomla site. Can you temporarily disabled it first if there any so it will be easier for us to identify the error?

Hello Ezrul,

Your FTP is working perfectly, i have just tested it.

Thank you

Hey Rizwan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. The FTP access which you have provided doesn't seem to permit us to perform any changes on the files of the site. Can you please advise?

Try to modify this file for yourself, /administrator/components/com_easyblog/setup/controllers/install.post.php

Dear Support,

Your ftp account should be able to modify any files in the site.

i have modified /administrator/components/com_easyblog/setup/controllers/install.post.php by adding bellow line

error_reporting(E_ALL);

But the problem still persist.

Thank you

Perhaps you can try download my attachment file then upload the launcher installer through in your Joomla installer, then when you reach step 2 page, you have to replace the file into JoomlaFolder/administrator\components\com_easyblog\setup\controllers\install.post.php and see how it goes?

Dear Arlex,

Finaly, by following your guidance i am able to complete the easyblog installation wizard.

Can you tell me why we must re upload the install.post.php ?

We have another problem in http://ym.idev.rimici.com/, stuck in Post Installation Cleanup Initializing

Is there any incompatibility issues or server config or something that stuck the post installation process?

We expected a smooth installation, if possible.

Thank you for your kind support.

Hey Rizwan,

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

Actually I am still haven't figure out why the installation stuck at `create sample post` process, which mean that when you run the installation, your system can't auto help you create a sample post in Easyblog.

if your site got more than 1 post, the installation will skip this process and this will not happen in your future update version.

Also no need to replace back the install.post.php file.

==============================================================================================================
Hey Valentin,

I believe your issue already resolved.

Dear Arlex,

http://ym.idev.rimici.com/ is a new subdomain, and we have created it a days ago.

I have removed the easyblog and delete the %_easyblog table as well, and there should be no more left table in the database, but it still stuck in the post installation.

I have done it twice, same error, stuck in the post installation.

But in the other subdomain, we have successfully done the installation, even we do reinstallation by remove the component and clean the table or just reinstall the component with the table still intact.

So far, only the pograms and ym subdomain have the problem.

The programs.idev.rimici.com has been done by your magic code, "install.post.php".

And for the ym.idev.rimici, perhaps, can you fix the problem by creating another "install.post.php" ?

:-)

So both subdomain has same problem, unable to create sample post ? right?

A kind strange for me..

Thank you.

Hey Rizwan,

Do you mean that if install in without subdomain site then the installation work? But if install in subdomain site, then hitting the issue?

If that is the case, can you provide us with your subdomain site Joomla backend and FTP access so we can double check again?

Dear Arlex,

We did not install the easyblog in main site, we only install the esyblog in subdomain and bellow subdmain we have the problem recently and previously.
- http://ym.idev.rimici.com/ --> using your install.post.php from https://programs.idev.rimici.com still initializing.
- http://programs.idev.rimici.com -> fixed with your install.post.php

we also install successfully without issues in
- http://scholars.idev.rimici.com
- http://mcare.idev.rimici.com
- ... some other subdomain

Thank you

Hey Rizwan,

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

I've tried to reinstall Easyblog and troubleshoot in your this site http://programs.xxx.com/ again, but I hitting this now :
Warning: file_put_contents() [function.file-put-contents0]: Only 0 of 13 bytes written, possibly out of free disk space in /srv/www/rimici/idev/programs/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 435

If seems like your server hitting not enough disk space issue.

And when I trying to save the file through in your FTP server, I hitting this file permission issue.
Response:	451 Failure writing to local file.
Error: File transfer failed

Please advise.

I am having the same issue with getting stuck at Post Installation Cleanup.

After backing out it says they software is updated, but I couldn't go any further than that step, so I really don't trust it.

https://gyazo.com/7659f412e96f4d9d24e9b3d07fe3a333

I checked with my server admin during the install and I am not getting any errors thrown.

Can you guys please fix this? BTW this is happening on multiple domains.

Please start a new thread rather than riding on another person's thread. It's most likely that you have a different issue altogether.
