Wordpress post has inserted gallery so I'm trying to duplicate this with EB

Can someone guide me through the steps?
Hello Peter,

In EasyBlog we have something similar and when using the media manager, create a folder, upload your images / photos into that folder. Then, click on the "Insert As Gallery" button

Hi Mark

Ok, was looking for a media uploader didn't know have to create a folder manually. Joomla need to make things easier for users.

--Where should I create the folder?
--If another member creates a blog post, I will need to create another folder for that user?

Hello Peter,

It shouldn't be done on Joomla but actually on EasyBlog's media manager See my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/KktffBFBKvXQ

By the way, you don't have to create folders unless you explicitly want to. EasyBlog automatically creates the user folders so that each user's folders are different. Then, we have a "Shared Media" folder where each users share their uploaded items in this shared folder if they want everyone to be able to access the files in this folder.

Hi Mark

Very confusing. If I create a new post I see the button Insert Media. If I click on that and then Upload Media, I do not see the button you are referring to.

If you came in via "Upload", click on the Browse Media button at the top right corner. If you came in via "Browse Media", you don't have to do anything

Seems to have to many "entry" point just to insert a media - not sure if that is EB or Joomla issue

Found two issues during this test:
-social sharing buttons pushes the gallery content down and creates big white space in post
-insert a gallery via media manager from both my gallery and ES album causes overlapping when post is viewed

Hello Peter,

There's only 1 entry point to browse / insert media in EasyBlog which is the media manager. Other links within the editor are from Joomla entirely. This is why we are working on the new composer for EasyBlog with our very own editor.

As for the issues, I need to take a look at a sample post on your site to determine these issues
