hi, my users are able to "Insert image as Gallery" without any uploaded Images!? i see on a blog entry gallery code in blog entrys without images..

i'm missing here a message like -> Please upload first images before you try to insert Images as Gallery!

MyMedia + MyAlbums

Step to reproduce:

1. Login in your Demo (nadia)
2. click on Media Manager Button
3. Message "There are no contents in this folder." should be showed
5. click on Insert as Gallery Button
6. Code
[embed=gallery]{"file":"/","place":"user:609"}[/embed]
is added in write blog Editor
Hello Rene,

The media manager offers you flexibility of adding the photos later if you want. Some users choose to do this and while some others don't. I don't think it makes any sense to prevent users to add the code if there are no images in the folder. It may not be suitable for your use but others would benefit from this.

hey mark,

ok it's a kind of flexibilty but only for thoose who are know about that and create for each gallery code a seperate folder! if they upload all there later images also in the same folder then it's a mess..and it's also confusing for reader if there is a code showed in blog entry and the user are not adding photos later or all there uploaded photos are showed in a older blog entry if they not created a new folder.

I don't think it makes any sense to prevent users to add the code if there are no images in the folder. It may not be suitable for your use but others would benefit from this.
remains the question..how do the blogger know that it works that way?

Hello Rene,

To a certain extent, I agree with you here but almost 99.99% of users that are using the media manager from EasyBlog is not complaining of such issues and you are the only user that has such concerns. We will see what we can do in the future.
