Hello

there is only this solution for my members to put photos https://www.petz-passionanimaux.fr/forum_new/index.php/presentation-de-notre-boxer
They can't put photos like me when I create a subject like here https://www.petz-passionanimaux.fr/forum_new/index.php/le-boxer, or I haven't found the solution.
thank you for your reply
Jean Marie
Hey there,

It seems that when I was trying to access your FTP, it gave me the following error:

Command: PASS ***************
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

Also, may I know how did you create your category such as 'Utilisation du forum'?

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like you provide us your site login credentials no longer work, this is what I hit now when I trying to log in on your site :

Warning
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

According to your initial issue, do you mean that if you log in as this user account "Jean-Marie" then you can add an image through the Tiny-MCE editor right?

If yes, I think you can check this "Editor - TinyMCE" plugin configuration setting and see whether this user account "JM86130" under that Joomla user group is it got permission to allow upload image through the editor?

If you still can't figure it out, can you update your site backend login access so that I can continue troubleshoot this?

Thanks, I can able to access your site now.

From what I check, it seems like Joomla can't allow the user account under the "Registered" user group to access the media manager page.

Even I assign this test account "testaccount" under "Registered" and "Author" Joomla user group, but the Joomla still doesn't allow them to access the Joomla media manager.

You can check my attached screenshot below.

You can verify this using the following account.
username: testaccount
password: testaccount123

What if you can switch to BBCode editor? so the user can upload what attachment image file they want, then if they want to insert into the discussion content, they can click the "insert" link from the attachment row, you can check my 3rd attachment image.

I installed the JCE editor plugins and I can restrict access.
For info if we ask you again:
Hello Robert

Go to the "Editor parameters" tab in the "Default" profile you have to go to the system file, then go down the page a little and in "Directory filter", you add one by one the directories you do not want to give access.

So you mean that the JCE editor can achieve what you want right?
