Hi,

I would like to use Easyblog as it is in the bundle but before i would like to know a little bit more about the extension please.

I have a blog part on my site that i am doing with joomla.
I think it could be better but i am not sure Easyblog is what i need as i don't want something too heavy.

1/ What are the advantages using Easyblog instead of joomla for blog ?

2/ I am the only one that is writing articles in the blog, can Easyblog still be interesting for me? As i saw it was really great for multi authors...

3/ Is there a migration for joomla articles to Easyblog ?

If you ask about the Easyblog feature, Easyblog has quite a lot of feature, perhaps you can take a look our page here https://stackideas.com/easyblog we did described what Easyblog existing feature.

it doesn't mean Easyblog only good for multi author, actually depend on how you want to use it.
Perhaps you can share with us how you want to use it normally in Joomla article?

Hi,

Thank you for your answers.

In fact, i would like something that will automatised the articles design.
Something like a template where everything will be at the same place easily.

I would like the article to be aesthetic also.

Last thing, i would like to have social share in each articles Because right now the pictures are not sharing on facebook because of opengraph.

Finally as my site is already slow, is it heavy?

I understand better now but still have one question and can't find the answer even after analysing the demos pages.

What are the differences between Easyblog and EasyArticle please?

What would be the best for me, as i already have a small blog part on my site and only one author...

Hey Nadine,

EasyBlog uses it's own database tables and it is used primarily as a blog extension. EasyArticles on the other hand is an interface which helps you store items in Joomla articles. It's limitation is it does not output it's own contents, you use Joomla article to handle that.

EasyBlog on the other hand has greater flexibility as we have total control over the extension
