Hi there is real world legal lawsuit problem for users ie influencers and site owners regarding "advertising partnership" for paid influencing posts. This go for EasyBlog as well as EasySocial and posts that are from registered "partners/users" where you have a commercial relationsship with them.

We need a tick box for these posts that can be used for blogs/posts in EasyBlog and EasySocial with a tool tip when hovering

ie "Influencer marketing" - "Tool tip: Adverstising - this is a paid influencing post"

This is a feature request Mark and hope to discuss it first before I or somebody else doing a feature request for EasyBlog and EasySocial..

Thks.
To be honest, I really don't see a need for this at all. When a person signs up on your site, you already have all the terms and conditions set and they have to abide to your terms.

Adding more checkboxes everywhere is just going to complicate the process.

It’s not about the person signs up to the terms of your site it’s about the influencer and the audience of your site get informed that exactly this post is a "commercial post" for a brand, product, service or whatever that person/user/influencer marketing doing on your site. So it’s not all posts/blogs that have these consequences for this blogger but some that is for commercial purpose only and your audience must know that this is the case as post marked up as a pr marketing engagement this person has with this brand, product, service etc

Here in Sweden that have cost brand influencers 20.000 USD in court not to inform the "audience" of your site that you make this "propaganda" advertising not saying that. Now get bankruptcy and think she quit. https://www.ehandel.se/influencer-falls-for-otydlig-reklam-har-gjorts-mot-ersattning

"Om det utdömda förbudet trotsas kan Kenza Zouiten AB tvingas betala 200 000 kronor i vite."

Influencer Kenza Zouiten AB (Ltd) http://kenzas.se/

So if you as a site owner cannot serve this influencer and "protect" them legally with options to set certain post that is commercial you are also in trouble.

I know there are different laws in the world but this protect people to understand what is a real like for a product or something you do bcs you get paid to do it. You can imagine this for a site where you lure kids into different buy scenarios where you say and promise things that is not true but you do it bcs you earn money to influence people to buy or do something and as site owner you get paid to support this activity.

I think a related std click box for post will be enugh and with a small badge to the post "Commercial post" or something. So the blogger can click and set up the post for commercial then as site owner you have solved the problem and its up to the poster.

To be frank, I do not think that this makes sense but please feel free to post this under the feature requests section.

@ssnobben
We also have the same iissue (Europe as a whle is concerned)
For a video or a blog post or even in a forum the person should inform the audience if:
- Is sponsored? if yes who is sponsoring
- Products shown: are they samples / bought / gift
- Affiliates links: yes/no
- and so on...

Maybe a quick solution is to create a specific profile with special color / background color for the profile type?
