Currently I'm experiencing some problems with a lot of pageviews by my own IP. The index.php at root runs multiple times.
I verified that there is no malware or a bot is behind my IP which generates these requests.

My question is:
Could it be that in some way the index.php runs multiple times, because of EasySocial? Or maybe because I did a lot of editing in the PHP-files?

I'm talking about (ten)thousands of views/hits.

Currently I'm with Siteground and they threaten to shutdown the site, if the load stays that high.

I really don't know where to go with this; I went to my internet provider, scanned my devices multiple times behind my IP with several anti-malware software; absolutely zero.
I talked to Siteground, but they can't see anything.

Also another management IP for my site from another device has a lot of hits generated.

I really don't know where to go anymore, do you have any experience with this? Are you able to shed some light on this?

Hey jan,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

So far I didn't encounter this issue before, but I noticed you have turn on this `send email on page load` option in Easysocial, I have temporary disable it, can you give it a check the traffic is how now?
