incorrect redirect after logging in

Hi,
After logging in I get incorrectly redirected to /?Itemid=212
The login process occurs correctly, it's just the redirect that leads to a 404 page

Okay, it looks like this issue is really simple and after several hours testing this, it looks like this issue only happens when you login via http://sandbox-2041.wilddog.co.uk/community/login and NOT http://sandbox-2041.wilddog.co.uk/community . The reason is simply because of the settings shown here, http://screencast.com/t/QVS9PyoGOkGZ . You have configured EasySocial to redirect to a menu alias instead of a real menu item.

To fix this, I have changed both the login and logout redirection to your "Community" menu item instead which is under the hidden menu, and the problem is fixed for good. Can you try this again?

By the way, I have tried to login to the front end of your site with your "front end" access and it didn't redirect me to any 404 page. It redirects me to the dashboard. Am I missing anything here?

Hi Mark,
I've reset the password, here it is again.

As for the question in the second post, sometimes it redirects me correctly, however most of the time it redirects me to a 404 page. I didn't manage to spot a pattern. Try logging out and in again.

The front-end or back-end? Here's all the data again. I don't know what's happening but I always put the same data here and I get complaints that it doesn't work and on other occasions it works without a problem.

Hi, any news on this bug? Were you able to recreate it? Just a moment ago I logged in and it redirected me correctly, then I logged out, back in and I was redirected to /?Itemid=212

I think I found the pattern - if I clear my cookies and then login, it works correctly. If I then log out and back in, I get redirected to /?Itemid=212
