Hello

When you edit an EasyBlog user in backend, if his biography was not set, after saving user his biography is set with "Nick Name has not set their biography yet".

This is an issue in particular when you edit a user with backend in English whereas your site is in French...

Regards

.Fixed in EB 5.0.35
This is actually the default behavior because if you are accessing the site in English, then it's using the English translations.

OK, but the issue is not really about the translation. The issue is that the user Biography is set with some useless value just because you are editing the user profile in backend!

When the biography is not set in user profile, then in frontend this is what is displayed: "... has not set their biography yet". There is no good reason why this sentence would be set as a value for users' Biography fields.

Hey Altitudes,

I have applied the fix on the following files below on your site and it should be working correctly now.
/administrator/components/com_easyblog/tables/profile.php
/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/authors/item.php
/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/dashboard/account/blog.php

Please have a look.

Thanks, but I think there is a misunderstanding...

Displaying "... has not set their biography yet" in frontend (when a user's biography is not set) is fine, I think your customers are happy with it and this should not be changed.

The issue is that when you edit such a user in backend, his biography, instead of remaining empty, is set with "... has not set their biography yet" (this string is set a value for the Biography field). And this should not be.

Thanks and sorry, we might have misunderstood your request. I have applied a fix internally and this will be fixed on the next release of EasyBlog
