Hy,
I am still in the process of testing EzS. If you use credentials below, you'll see that this user has installed apps, as shown if you browse the list of apps from his dashboard. However, no installed apss appear on his dashboard, below the link inviting to browse the list of available apps : in the sidebar, the list of installed apps in this profile appears empty. They show up however on the sidebar of his profile. What I am missing ?

I have indicated superuser credentials in optional info if needed.
Hello Paul,

Ah, yes albums app does not have a list on the profile because the albums is actually "integrated" within EasySocial. The albums can be accessed through the dropdown menu on the toolbar

Hello Paul,

Yeah, you are right and we are actually aware of this issue. The initial idea of placing apps on the dashboard is to allow users to create their contents using the dashboard rather than creating it on the profile. We want to have a clear separation that on the dashboard, this is where you'll be "managing" most of your apps. Not every apps should be listed on the dashboard because not every app has interactions with the user.

For instance, take Kunena app as an example. You can't really do anything with Kunena on the dashboard as you only can create forum posts from Kunena. Hence, it wouldn't appear on the dashboard

In EasySocial 1.2 however, we'll be adding "app filters" and I believe this should sort out some of the confusions.

Hi Mark,

You already explained to me why the EzD app showed on the profile and not on the dashboard. I accept that logic, even if it is a little disconcerting at first.

The situation here is different. The user "xavier" installed article and album from his dashboard. When he browses the list of apps from his dashboard, they show "installed" and at least article appears in the side bar of his profile. When clicking on article in the profiles, the message "no published articles yet" shows up very logically. Album however does not appear in the list. To be consistent, it should, with the same behavior as article.
But on the sidebar of his dashboard from where he should be expected to create albums and articles, he only gets the message "no installed apps". And can not create albums or articles.

If needed, access credentials where in my initial message.

Do we as site admins have the option of hiding apps installation options from site users?

Hello Brandon,

Unfortunately currently you can't. But you can of course set applications as the default applications for the users.
