Hi,

I asked it before and Mark helped: http://stackideas.com/forums/including-image-at-the-head-of-the-blog-easyblog

BUT, after upgrade for the new Easyblog version, the Head dissapear because it made the CSS files change back for default (and then I should do it again). Is there a way to make an override to the CSS file so in the next time I upgrade it doesn´t dissapear (head)?

Thanks in advance!
Solved!

Hello Satyro Oliveira,

Sorry for late reply to this,
If I'm not getting wrong your meaning, actually you can create a new module for Custom HTML, so you can insert a image in this module and set the position in the header.

If not, can you try add last time Mark mentioned that code in your template CSS file and see how it goes?
If you need further assistance, please provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

Alex,

Thanks, but it isn´t the way I want. What I want is to make an CSS override of the template, as Mark teached at the other post. If I make it directely at the sytylesheet of VINTAGE, next time I upgrade it will be deleted again. I just want some way to create an override for it, as you said at this post I found here (http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/customizations/template-overriding). I made this last stuff, but it still not showing.

Have I explained it well now?
Thanks for any help.

ALex,
That´s OK! When I stopped to look carefully for the orientations I had from Mark I saw that I was using the wrong stuff - instead of using the right one:

 #ezblog-head {
background: url(http://fec.satyro.com.br/images/4tools/easyblog/img_bg_easyblog-postrealeza.jpg);
}

I was using this, pointing to "BODY".

 #ezblog-BODY {
background: url(http://fec.satyro.com.br/images/4tools/easyblog/img_bg_easyblog-postrealeza.jpg);
}

I also followed this orientation about override that you gave at the forum: .

That´s it! I hope it help nayone else with the same problem.

Thanks for the attention, Alex!
