Improving Blog urls?

Hi,
Thanks for a great component!
At the moment, our site shows all blog items with the following url:
/blog/title
but the client would like to simplify the url to
/title

Is this possible without sh404sef?
I can install sh404sef if needed, and how would I make sure the url is simplified like this?

Thank you for the kind compliments. If you set the front page menu item as EasyBlog, you can achieve this by enabling the "Simple" url settings for the SEO Settings in EasyBlog
