Hello Team, I noticed that when posting a message on someone's wall (message board) that the text remains and and cannot be x'ed out or cleared and to see new posts you have to click on a refresh button.

Is there anyway to automate these tasks?

Meaning, the result would be; Enter Text, press enter or send, the text would clear and the new message posted in it's place.

Hey there,

I am sorry but not really sure if I understand you here. Did you mean the "placeholder" text? When you focus on the input, the placeholder text should automatically get cleared.

If it doesn't, then it is most likely due to some js conflicts. As I don't have the URL to test this, I can't really tell. Also which browser are you testing this with?

Well that share error must be an additional issue then
To reproduce the initial issue noted above, simply type in the message box on a users profile such as mine or your own and the hit send. You will see that it does not clear out.

I am using the latest Firefox browser for the most part but I can test in most of them. I also use google chromecast. I doubt that is part of the issue.

On another note, I need a quote, I need to have someone export a user database or use the one I have on file (SQL) and merge it with the new one on my Joomla 3.0 site. The old database is from the same site that has been archived as it is an old Joomla 1.0 something. The issue is the old DB will not work with Joomla 3.0. I'm not comfortable doing this myself. Should I open a new ticket after this current issue is resolved?

Yes, I had tried it earlier as well. It cleared up. What ever you did it worked.
