Hi,

I find some of the ToolTip instructions are incomplete !

For example in New User there is no tooltip against Name and Username. Imho it would be useful to know what is the difference between each word AND how each name would be used by EasyBlog.

Also I have seen, though I cannot remember where, the tooltip just repeating the onscreen 'entry' word. What I need (and maybe others) is the answer to 'what?' am I to enter here and 'why?' am I entering this information and even an answer to 'how?' is this information going to be used. This will give users of WasyBlog confidence in their actions and the result expected.

If you would like examples then I would have to list them as I find them and get back to you.
In the meanwhile I hope you undersatnd what I am suggesting.

Thanks
Hello Peter,

New registrar uses joomla component to register and not handled by EasyBlog.

In the path below, find the file and add a title to the input HTML tags for your tooltip. This might work with the other field you would like to have tooltip to appear.
Joomla\components\com_easyblog\themes\yourtheme\toolbar.php
<input title="fill in your username" id="username" type="text" name="username" class="input text" alt="username" />

Thanks:)

Hi Khairul,
I wonder if you have mis-understood my request/suggestion.
What I would like to see is more information supplied in the tooltips offered with EasyBlog.
You are the experts and the more information that you can provide, as to understanding all the options within EasyBlog, by way of tooltips, the better it will be for you as you might receive less requests for help.
Awaiting your comments
