Hello,
after ugrading to 1.2.5 users can not register in my website

message is saying : invalid email format

i have tried with several email providers and several settings for this field... no changes.

something is going wrong
can you check please ?

Same here, really need a hotfix, we are a french website too, maybe it is language related ?

Hi,

This is most likely the Joomla Email field configuration. Go to backend -> Profiles -> Custom Fields and click on the Joomla Email field and disable the Regex validation if you don't need it.

Hi,

Unfortunately it is Joomla's restriction where a user have to provide a name during registration.

I suppose theoretically ES could "appease Joomla" by copying the username data into the name field. Obviously most of us wouldn't want this by default, but in the case of the name field being not required this action could take place.
