Hi,

I tried to install EsaySocial in my local machine but that doesn't work.

When I try with the API Key the progress bar stop at 20%.
Downloading Installation Files...Success
Installation file downloaded successfully.
Initializing Database Success
Executed 19 sql query files.
Initializing Admin Files Success
There was a total of 10 files and 8 folders copied.
Initializing Site Files Initializing

When I try manually by adding the package com_easysocial_launcher_pro_1.2.16_joomla3.0 file to administrator/components/com_easysocial/setup/packages/ it stops at 15% and I get the following message:

Initializing Database Failed
Sorry, there was some errors when trying to extract the queries.zip file. Please contact our support team.

I need a fully working version in local.
Hello Nuno,

Could you provide your joomla backend access as well as your FTP access in order for us to rectify the problem you are having right now?

Thank you

Hi

I too am having this problem and get the error "Sorry, there was some errors when trying to extract the queries.zip file." when I try installing using either the Component or the Full package.

I am installing on my local machine.

Please can you advise what the solution is to fix this, rather than you remote in.

Thanks

Paul

Hello guys,

Can you try going to your JoomlaFolder\tmp
Create a folder JoomlaFolder\tmp\[newfolder]
Move and Extract your com_easysocial_launcher_pro_1.3.28_joomla3.0.zip into the [newfolder]
***Remove only com_easysocial_launcher_pro_1.3.28_joomla3.0.zip after extracting.

Go to JoomlaBackEnd->Extensions->Extension Manager-> Install from Directory

Picture Guide:

http://screen.stackideas.com/move&extract.png
http://screen.stackideas.com/Install_from_Directory.png

if the issue still persist, try using your full version for installation from directory which can be download from http://stackideas.com/dashboard.
Do let me know if this help you out?

***It would be best if the error reporting set to maximum to see if there any error and take a screenshot for us?
***if installation goes smoothly, do turn off the error reporting.
