Important Problem With Search

Hi Guys,

There is a problem with search results, I dont know how can i explain but i will try;

Here is some of them
1- Duplicate Search Resulst
2- Old items in search results,
3- Old user or changed user data in results,
4- Wrong link way in search results
5- Wrong search count in search results
6- Some irrelevant results based on search word

Please type gokhan, nagihan, super for search results (one by one)
I purged all indexed results on site, i think that results gone i mentioned above, IoI there are many searh pulugins on site, not to sure what i can do, should i disable some of them or not?

Also there is one thing in mysql perfoamnce results, not to sure is this related to search indexing or not : "Joins performed without indexes: 16026"

Guys Please suggestion for this search conflicts, and it will be awasome if you add a search managament option on admin panel.


Its really hard to owner a website with 9865456545 extentions & pulugins With a dedicated server both, its like ownering space shuttle IoI

Hello gökhan,

EasySocial does not compute any searching. All it does is to send it back to Joomla to compute the results and based on the result, we format it accordingly (nicely) so it looks beautiful That's just about it. The search result would be exactly the same as if you searched it through Joomla

Hi Mark,

After clearing old indexes and reindex all items, some old recordes gone away But now only i have problem with article results, how can i disable "article results" on easysocial search

Please check screenshot attached. You will understand why

Hello gökhan,

To disable this, you need to turn off the articles plugin for Smart Search.

Hi Mark,

There are two contents pulugins, I dont now which one is related to easysocial, Another thing, I have Jreviews also with 35.000 ( items ) articles. I need article indexing also, But not with easysocial search. when you search something with easysocial, Its too slow, because it also looks in articles (35.000) for your search item. I hope you understand me The same problem with others also who uses Jreviews with more then 1000 items

Unfortunately, right now you can't specifically disable this for EasySocial only because the "indexing" happens before the search. So there is no way to prevent this If you want to disable this, disable the one "Smart Search - Content"
