A while back I imported hundreds of K2 items into EasyBlog and have since removed K2 from my site. I also used Komento on this site. Unfortunately the Komento comments did not get imported. So, I have a bunch of comments in my backend which are now not connected to a blog.

I am wondering what might be the best way to connect these comments to the correct blog. Currently what I get for each one is a message in the Komento backend that says:

"Unable to load article details (348)"

Fortunately I do have an old copy of the site with the K2 content so I can identify which EasyBlog post should have the comments. I am assuming I need to manually add these comments into the correct EasyBlog posts and then delete the old ones with error messages.

But, I wanted to make you all aware of this and also ask if there is an easier way to do this that you know about?

Thank you, Sean Carney
I figured out how to do this. I just identify the EasyBlog posts ID number and then I edit the comment in Komento and select EasyBlog as the source and put in the new EasyBlog ID number and voila. Komento comment is connected. I have just done this with one post so far but will set about doing them all now. I will also upgrade to Komento 3 shortly....

Hey Sean,

May i know when you import K2 article into your Easyblog is it import comment as well?

If yes, you actually do not need to do anything, you can go to your backend > Komento > migrator > Easyblog > start migrate.

So all the Easyblog comment will be migrate into Komento comment system.

Note : Before you do anything remember do the full backup.

I had intended to import comments but I do not believe they actually imported. I am not 100% positive on that though.
