Hello,

My actual website is joomla 2.5, my easydiscuss version is 3.1.

I'm building a new version of my website, with joomla 3. I charged Easydiscuss version 3.2 on the new website (joomla 3.4) and I'm now wondering how I can import all the discussions I have from my old joomla. I had more than 800 discussions.

The Easydiscuss versions are not the same, then I'm not able to import directly the database from Phpmyadmin, because a lot of tables are differents.

Do you have any idea about import/export easydiscuss from an old version ?
Maybe I'm about to find a kind of solution. For test I copied the table "posts" in my new Joomla, of course it didn't work on frontend and cause database issues. BUT, then I updated again Easydiscuss component in my backend and then it probably added the columns missing in the table, now all my posts are correctly shown in the new Joomla ! I'll try this way for all the other tables and will let know here if it's work. Any feedback would be welcome nevertheless

Hello Florian,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. What you should do is to install the latest version on your 2.5 site to ensure that both the database tables are tallying.

Once they are tallied, you could just export the data from your 2.5 database and reimport them on your 3.x site
