Hello,
I used CB on one of my sites, I would like to import the members of my old network (CB) to the new network (EasySocial)
I would like to import: Name, Username, Password and Profile Picture.
But the two sites are not on the same domain name.
I can not use the tool provided with EasySocial, how can I do it?
Best regards.
Eric
Hello Eric,

There is no way to port the data from a different site unfortunately. Your best option that I could think of is this:

1. Bring the CB data over to the existing site and migrate it to EasySocial

or

2. Install EasySocial on your other site (with CB) and migrate the data to EasySocial

If you choose either way, you need to ensure that the user id's doesn't conflict.

Good evening Mark,
Thank you for your reply.

Would I need exactly the same fields?
Best regards.

Hello Eric,

When you migrate from CB -> EasySocial it will create the necessary profile type (I believe CB doesn't have profile type) so it will create one new profile type with the fields that are available on CB.

Please take note that some users experience issues with the migrator because they run on some 3rd party fields for CB which we have never seen before. The migrator only migrates the default fields that are included with CB.
