Images side by side with links

Is it possible to get 2 images side by side with links?

I read the 2015 post saying use the Columns block but text only appears, there are no links available in Gallery and Thumbnails, so I am using the image block for links, placing the images below each other.
Hi Richard,

Is it you want to display it as attached image below? If yes, you can do it by:
1. Add column block and remove the text block in the inside column block
2. Add image block in the column block

Hey Richard,

Actually I am not quite sure what you mean set image side by side with link, perhaps you can show me some example regarding this.

The 2 images at the bottom of this blog post link to the iOS and Google Play Stores respectively.

The second image is below the first but I would like it to be on the same line as the first image, with one one the left and one on the right, adjusting to one image below the other for smaller devices - but with the links.

How do I do this?
